Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Atlanta,
GA (November 14, 2016) – Bob Amick, Owner and Founder of Concentrics Restaurants,
received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Georgia Restaurant Association
on Sunday, November 13th at their 10th annual GRACE Awards Gala held
at The Delta Flight Museum. The GRACE Awards Gala is the Georgia Restaurant
Association’s (GRA) annual black-tie event honoring Georgia’s restaurant

Amick
and his Concentrics concepts have been nominated for several James Beard Awards
including “Outstanding Restaurateur” and “Best Restaurant”. Top chefs such as
Richard Blais, Todd Ginsberg, Joe Schafer, Nick Melvin, Zeb Stevenson, Scott
Serpas, Todd Stein and more come from the Concentrics family.
“It
is an honor to be recognized by your peers. Thought it is a lifetime
achievement award, I am looking forward to continuing to create over the next
decade,” explains Amick. At the awards ceremony, Amick acknowledged the people
on his Concentrics team, including partner Todd Rushing, as invaluable in terms
of his success.
Amick
has plans to open 14 more Concentrics concepts between 2017 and early 2018.
As
a special 10 year celebration of the GRACE Awards, recognition was given to the
finalists and honorees from the past decade. Jim Stacy, host of the Cooking
Channel's “Offbeat Eats” and owner of Pallookaville Fine Foods, served as the
Master of Ceremonies.
